Deary Me ! In My Quest For Shrimp

So in my recent quest for shrimp (for my planted tank), I'm browsing around eBay.

My oh my - what some people won't resort too. I honestly don't know if this is serious or not - This shrimp looks entirely dead - never mind on it's last legs ! (in fact in that pic it's not on any legs at all :lol: but perhaps I shouldn't laugh?) (Oh, and read the question/response at the bottom of the ad).

And then, what does one do with these ? Eat them while waiting for the fish to bite, or use them as bait :unsure: (note the hillarious erm...tradename of the shop selling them).

And what on earth is this for ? To flavor something for the fish ? :unsure: Is it like catnip for cats or what :dunno:

And then of course there's Cajun Shrimp Nail Varnish !

Well that's me entertained for a Friday evening :lol:

Those are fishing products/Baits, not stuff for a aquarium fish !! LOL

To catch Carp, Rudd, ETC??
 
yeah the boilies are good bait for carps in the northwest when its a little warmer i think, but the real reason i was posting was the shrimp, should i buy it and let u guys know what its like? i feel sorry for it lol, he is unable ot care for it because he is decorating..... :sly: yeah right, i bet the thing is dead already! he just stood it up against that plant trying ot pull a fast one didnt he! :grr:

Oh bummer - I was watching this to see if anyone is silly enough to buy the dead shrimp.
