There are SO many teens these days going on sunbeds, even as a teen myself it disgusts me

woah. That hit me hard. I lost my Mum at the age of 64 to ovarian cancer. I wish someone had made a video like this years ago to tell her what the warning signs were. She might have been around to see me turn 40 at the beginning of this month.

It doesn't matter what kind of cancer it is. We all need to know the warning signs

i know i havent had this in my family but even being super emotional the past few weeks i almost started crying...my mom had thyroid and throat cancer and a tumor by her sternum within six months of each other but she's she cancer free now

Agreed. Thanks for the nagging reminder I've had some freckles turn black and scab over the past few years and on top of that, my grandad was diagnosed with skin cancer last year (thankfully not malignant) but given that it's genetic, I should probably get my backside to the doctors...

Been against tanning beds for years! Just as bad as sun bathing.

I try to not to get a whole lot of sun during the summer and trying to sunscreen on when I know I'm gonna be outside all day..because of previous health issues my doctor told me never to go to tanning beds the rest of my life

I take my kids out for a few hours everyday. GO exercise! Fighting childhood obesity and all that {could be a good health topic after this one} You should see how much sunscreen I slather on them. Costs a fortune and worth every penny.
