Hey guys sorry had been busy for a while. So since then I've noticed baby shrimps appearing in the tank just today now however I've witnessed my cardinal tetras swimming different and saw that they attacked and killed a baby shrimp. After I'd say 30 mins now they are still swimming different. They aren't bothered with the adult shrimps. All the adult shrimps I'd bought are fine and had no deaths since except for probably a few babies that might got eaten
No problems with nitrates and they seem to molt fine as I see several skins about.
It happens both ways, big fish eats little shrimp, big shrimp eats little fish. If you feed the cardinals more and have more plants in the tank, more baby shrimp will survive.
