With my Bristlenoses spawning twice recently, my tank's overloaded with the little beasts. Plus I'm planning a complete fish keeping overhaul as it's taking up a lot of time recently. Therefore I've decided to get rid of some fish. Next up, Glowlight Danios.

I've got 6 adults that are in breeding condition and continually spawn. I have a tank full of fry which will be going to a shop when they're large enough. I think it's an even 3 males, 3 females. I'll have to check that later. I bought them in November 2010 so they're probably 18-19 months old.

Livestock: Glowlight Danios

Quantity for sale: 6

Reason for Sale: Too many fish

Delivery or Collection: Collection/Meet

Sales price: Free to a good home

Postage & Packaging: n/a

Location: Near Chester, Cheshire, UK

Photograph: I'll take one later.

Not mine, but shows them off well...

Hmmm, I don't think so sorry. I'd hate for them to die in the box. Plus I don't really have the packaging, it's added cost etc.

I live about 10 miles outside Chester but frequently go there so could meet you if need be. Where are you coming from? Will they be going in your Rio 180? Nice tank...

Yeah in the Rio. Thanks! It looks a lot nicer now. Will have to get some new pics on.

I'm coming from Chesterfield so from the east. I come in on the 56 then 53 then into Chester.

Cool, would be nice to see them swimming around in their new home!

Right ok, that's a fair trek! When suits you so to reduce their time out of tank?

I do it regularly as the Mrs lives in Chester and I live in Chesterfield. Depends how you want to do it to be honest. When is best for you?

Well I'll probably be going to the gym in Chester in the afternoons over the weekend. I take it the tank's in Chesterfield right? When are you planning to return home? I can adjust my timing to suit and you could meet me there? It's near the 53 junction for you to link back onto the 56.

I'm going back very early Monday (about 5.30) so Sunday evening would probably be best (unless you like getting up really early!lol) then they will only be out of a tank around 12 hours or so which will be fine. I'll keep it nice and warm. We are in north Wales Sunday until about 5ish so after then to suit?

Well I love my fish but I don't know if I love them enough to get up that early!

Hmmm, 12 hours?!?! You think?

Well when you order them online it can be more than that, tell you what ill do. Got a small spare plastic tank. I'll bring that with a spare heater and put them in there before I leave then bag them up again on the Monday morning.

Good point. I'd never mail order fish, I stuggle to get inanimate objects delivered safely never mind delicate, live tropical fish! Plus I can't help picturing a disgruntled postie giving the box a good shake for a laugh because it says "Live fish, handle with extreme care". But that's just me!

Fair enough, keep an eye on this. I'll let you know what time I'm heading out on Sunday. Thanks!
