a friend of mine recently braught me a damsal fly larve which she found in her baby (molly) fish tank. just wondering how that got in there? has anyone heard about this sort of thing before? and would it have been killing the mollies it was in with?
-thanx

hi, i have had damselfly larvae in my tank in the past. the eggs probably came into the tank on some plants. i had mollies in the tank, and all of them were fine, as were all of the other fish. i ended up finding damselflies stood on the light ballast, so i just released them outside.

cheers :good:

I've had a mayfly larvae in my tank before  I always wondered how it go there. :/

i find the larvae pretty cool. my mum wasn't keen though, she kept thinking that they were going to climb out of the tank. :p
