Cool pics man. Have you ever been diving in the highlands there is supposed to be some smart wrecks there, I doubt they are as colourful as cyprus though.

Nah i havent mate. I was in Gardentown earlier this year and the water was so clear if anyone did diving around there i would have given it a go.

I did do Stoney Cove in Dec last year 3 degrees C. Man brrrrrrrrr. Vis was rubbish, and i wasnt keen on using a drysuit, so think ill stick to warmer waters.

I dont blame you mate.

Is it quite freaky when you are deep and there is no visiblity, and if you are abroad aren't you afraid that sharks may be swimming about.

Nah id love to do a dive with some sharks one day.

crapped myself when a jellyfish came near me this yeah though. I was snorkling with my partner who had never dived before and was Breaking her in gently by getting her to snorkel first then have a go at diving (which she did finally in the end and really enjoyed it thank god)

when this JF came out of no where, didnt want her to see it as she would panic like mad, so i was trying to push it away by waving my hand near it to force the water to move it. anyway snorkelled a bit more, saw an octopus in hiding, that she wasnt keen on lol then got out the water. as soon as we got out she said

wow did u see that Jelly fish it was cool.........

Yes it is and it is cold and not really fun.

Afraid of sharks? No divers want to dive with sharks.

The best way of telling a diver form a snorkeller is to shout SHARK, snorkellers will scream and get out of the water in any way possible as fast as possible, the divers will jump in en mass.

And as for Stoney Cove it's not called the muddy puddle for nothing

PADI Advanced Open Water with EFR, so far though I do intend to do the rescue diver course ASAP (when stoney warms up ).

Yeah i did my Speciality Drysuit in Stoney. mmmm lovely.

Did Rescue Last year and thats as far as im gonna take it, not doing the dive master just for holiday diving, dont think id learn anything trying to cram it into a few weeks.
