Cycle finished. but now have serious algae.

Cycle finished.
But now within a day and a half i have a serious out break of read algae and i mean red.


what causes it?

how do i fix it?

do any fish eat it?

looked at the link but yeah not much help.

I have not put fertilizer in for about 2 weeks because i did not want algae to go stupid.

The algae is red and about 2mm-1.5mm long

its not a slime like that site said.

At the bottom of the page I linked you to it has a table on algae eating fish. I think one or more of them eat the red algae.
