Well mine doesn't really care one way or the other, he's more interested in getting money from them and he has started giving me a hard time about my cheapo bettas :grr: ,saying I should only focus and keep the one's that I plan on breeding.I told him that there's no way in hell that I'm giving away my other bettas so he can just bite me :p :p
Other than that, he kinda likes the fish but he doesn't help with them (except the occasional "here let me get the door for ya" when I'm carrying a bucket of water)

I mostly just hear the words "You're ARE NOT adding another tank to this house"

Though tonight she took an interest in feeding time and seeing what the fish were doing with the mysis shrimp when I told her they seemed to be eating the whole body but leaving the eyes on the bottom of the tank.

My husband falls between 1 and 2 in the poll. He helps me when I need with the tanks but wouldn't have them if it weren't for me. I've snuck the 5 gallon hex onto his desk so he can see the fish better and I'm hoping it will get him hooked. :fun:

Husband thinks that anything that keeps me busy and off his case is a good thing - must be why I have 3 ponies and 2 horses to clean up after and feed every day. I do not ride - daughter rides 2 of the ponies other three are vet and my projects...

Daughter thinks I'm fish mad but gave her her own 10 gal male guppy and fry grow out tank - she's pretty hooked and won't give me back my yoyo that I stuck in there for awhile (not that I want him love/hate thing with that fish for 3 years now...). For mother's day she gave me a card that said she was glad I was her mom and liked fish. hmmmmmm

That is EXACTLY my house! My husband will help dump buckets and such, he doesn't ever really watch them, but he is interested when I get new one's. The ten gallon tiger barb tank we have I put in our home office (where he works) so he would learn to love fish! :D

Option one applies the most but not totally accurate. My bf had our fish when I moved in. That is when I fell in love with this hobby, so I have pretty well taken over the maintnace of the tanks.

my bf likes the fish... stares at the fish almost the same amount of time as me... but i wouldnt dream of lettin him do a water change....

after all iv seen him cookin

My hubby and I both started our tanks together, but we both like different species of fish. I prefer livebearers and bettas and he prefers cichlids, although maintanence on all of the tanks is done by me alone. He picks out the type of cichlid and substrate he wants for the tanks and puts together the rock formations while I take care of the cleaning, illnesses, water changes, pregnancies, feedings, breeding in the case of my bettas, etc. I do wish he'd help out a bit with the maintenance since we now have 26 (and counting) different tanks set up, not including my betta tanks, but what he lacks in that area he makes up ten-fold in other areas.

My hubby admires my bettas, but thats what they are, MINE! :p He wants to help out with my reef tank though, (when I finally get it up and going) He thinks my 10 gallon is lame, (maybe it is, but I love them) :*) lol. He doesn't mind taking me to the fish store, for the first five minutes that is. I say, "wow, what a pretty fish" and he's like "okay lets get it and go!" If I take too long he'll sit in the car smoking

My gf couldn't understand why I wanted fish, and hated me dragging her around all the aquarium sections of zoos and other places when on holidays. She couldn't believe how much I spent on getting my first set up either.

Now she loves them, has taken over responsibility of flake feeding - she can hand feed them, especially the female betta who jumps out of the water to eat. I think because of the interaction they are just like other(furry) pets to her.

She spends as much time as me looking at them and checking them over too. I do all the maintenance though, should would be terrified of doing something wrong.
