First time with veg in my tank, and my fish art bothered about it in the slightest, is their I can do to make them try it

Ohh I gave them abit of flake food, an no this is the first time I have have them some veg

Keep trying, vegetables are great.
Just make sure you remove uneaten bits

Cut the cucumber up into little cubes then drop a few in, only way my green terrors will go for it.

I leave it on.

AshleyT - did you Blanch the slices first? Either boil them or put them in the microwave for a bit. This should also sink them.
