Hi, i want to feed my fish some cucumber but was wondering is it best to float it or make it sink

also whats the best way and safest way to make the cucumber sink

thanks in advance

I sink mine for my plec. I just put the end of a spoon though the bottom of it.

Obviously, make sure the spoon is clean.

I sink mine with a lead weight, like the ones that come round plants.

I use a screwcumber! Great little gadget! :D

you can spend money on a screwcumber, but why? plant lead does just as well, and is free. everybody, well almost, will have a tea spoon, too. so why spend?

Why Not? most of us live in a free country and they are inexpensive!

I use one and they work, great little idea :good:

i use a screwcumber too, my cories used to flip the spoon over and get stuck

lol, funny but poor cories haha...

I think i'm going to buy the screwcumber too. if it is very effective as everyone says it is (which I am sure it is) ..I don't think i can find anything like it here in canada. mind you I could probably use the spoon idea...but my mom will get mad..lol

i don't believer is said people couldn't buy one. as you say, we live in a free country, so i pointed out that the screwcumber is a unnecessary waste of money, however little. i didn't suggest they didn't work, either. but it works no better, than plant lead/tea spoon or a rubber band and a rock. as such it is in no way "vital", or even advantages to use one.

of course it up to the individual to decide. but it help to know there is no valid reason to use one, except if you want to.
