i was guna go EMA. whats his tanks like? sells fish cheappp though. always an offer on AC or his facebook page

Nothing special like wharf, but the prices are great!

yeah i was thinking of getting another 10 tetras. he does most tetras 10 for £6 which is the cheapest i can find!

hopefully il be going wharf as soon as i get my other tank! only place i could find dwarf puffers.

yeah its part an excuse to go to wharf and i dont like the look of most p@h tanks. been in a few times but never brough fish. and ive been in all the ones close to me. 3 of them so far!

Hey Minnnt, sorry to hear about your little episode. I hope the re intro goes ok. I know you have her in the community tank at the moment, but would it work to put her back in to the Crypto tank first along with the lemon tetras as dithers and let her settle for a day or two then add the male back in... kind of same theory but she does her recovery in the community tank first ? Also if her body is battered would addition of Almond leaves help as they are meant to have restorative properties. Sorry if Im teaching you to suck eggs, I know you are pretty well versed in fish husbandry by the sounds of things.

Hey mate, never knew that about almond leaves!! Will try and source some. Her tail and other 'wounds' are starting to heal come back now. She is quite active too.

I have decided to add the male into the tank she is in now as their colours show better. She will have been in there a few weeks I would have thought so will have claimed the tank as hers by then anyway I would have thought. (same thinking as you)

Hope you're well mate.

Im good thanks.

Here is a link to a listing on fleabay. There are plenty of other listings so check em all out for price :)

In the throws of working out what dwarf cichlids I can have in my new tank (Eheim 100 x 40 x 50) that will not kill each other and hopefully breed. Ste Chester has told me that in a "community" set up that fry are unlikely to survive which is a bit of a bummer :(

Im liking so many... grrr

The Krobia he is listing on ebay are amazing. Community tanks and fry don't really mix mate. The parents can kill other tank mates and they in return can munch eggs/fry.

Purchased 10 Lemon Tetra's for £6 to use as dithers when i re-introduce the male to the female. Ended up with 12!! :hyper: Female seems to be recovering very well indeed. Her tail is nearly 100% and her fins aren't far behind. Another 50% water change will be done this evening or tomorrow. She still has a few marks on her body, but another week should see her right i reckon. Her colour is back to normal too. The male is still in full colour too.

Oooh I can't wait to see pics! I love the look of those guys :)

Great news about the little lady as well

Yeah they look good, although they're in this tank atm, they will be transfered across with the male into the other tank when i make the move. I nearly went with Flame Tetra's, but thought best to stick with the Lemon's due to their extra size.

Oh wow, yeah I didn't think they were that big! Tank looks nice too!!
