I filled her up yesterday morning and the intentions were to have a permanent residence for my BN's...

This morning, when I woke up.... This is what greeted me...... (That is a 4ft x 2ft x 18")

Do you think I can reconnect the pieces with silicon sealer and try again???... I have no idea what happened.

Wow! Glad your BNs weren't in there at the time.

Well, that's not good. That's weird that it just broke in the back like that.

Sorry LV. On the flip side, your comets are breeding.

Wow that really does suck! thank god for leak tests :)

Cripes! good job it wasn't indoors!

Clearly the idea of BNs was just too much to handle and it self-destructed!

it might of broken if it was left outside and some kind of crazy rabbit attacked it

*getting an image of that rabbit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail which bit people's heads off coming into LV's yard in the middle of the night and stealth attacking the fishtank*

Could it have been heat radiating from the outside wall onto the back of the tank that either cracked the glass or melted your silicon?
Commiserations.

Which also has a flip side to it..... I fell asleep whilst they were still spawning, so by this morning.... all the eggs were eaten before I could remove the spawners..... Ah well!.... I did not really want another spawn of Comets.... They'll be ready again in a week or two...

Sorry to see mate, but atleast tank was outside, just wondering how it happened, maybe a stone or something was caught under tank and stand, or maybe a stone somehow either chipped up and hit it,or even a stray missle being dropped from a nesting bird

Got to be caused by a twist in the tank?

What a bummer!! Shame, it looked a smashing tank (suppose it still does really  )

From the image it looks like it wasn't sat on a flat surface? corners seem to be hanging over some polystyrene? which could easily cause stress fractures
