Could Someone Help Me, Petstore People Are No Help

It all matters about the individuals personality, but IMO Bettas do best and are happiest alone. Maybe a snail or two, but no more. I also reccomend some ornaments for him to hide behind, and/or some plants.

You got it. Perhaps some bottom dwelling fish, such as corydora catfish. Oh, about them, the petstore people will say they're there just to clean. You still need to clean your water, remove bottom debris, and make sure the cory cats get fed properly. Also, keep the tank well planted.

hey devon, do you have like an online album or myspace or something that shows the rest of your fishies?

I did have them all on myspace but deleted most of my pics. I'll get my pics on photobucket and put into an album and send you a link.

How is the lil fella today?

not so good, i believe he's constipated... so im gonna fast him til wednesday or thursday, then feed him a peice of shelled cooked pea... his bellies a little round, and last night he was leaning against the wall of the tank at the bottom, and he's not been pooping, so i think i over fed him a little

ok everybody, so today i went out and i bought some new bigger plants and a colorful little vase with the broken look with holes in it, and i put JB in the 10 gallon, he seemed to be scared, but who wouldnt be... so i started watching Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer, and i noticed about half way through that the current coming from the filter was making JB restless :/ , sine he likes to shut down his motor and just chill in place B) ... so after a little while of flippin out, i put him back in the 1/2 gallon...

what do i do now? he seems to love the half gallon, its like his own little bachelor pad, he's happy and chill... so if i keep him in there i might want to make my ten gallon a marine tank... is a salt water tank and creatures any more difficult to take care of?

(oh yeah, and side note, i bought one of those little gravel vacs, and the chick showed me how to use it in one of her tanks, and its so cool... just a tube, and the water pressure does the work :hyper: ... friggin sweet considering i was gonna have to scoop the water out with a big bowl to change it) (another side note, sharks are my FAVORITE animal, and the fish store i went to today had a store pet... a like three or four foot nurse shark... it was the most beautiful and awesome thing to watch... and he loved me, every side of the tank i went on, no matter how many people were around it, he alwasy glided right over and sat right next to wherever i stood... im in love with that shark)
