Could it be Ick?

Hey guys i was doing my nightly check up of my betta's and i noticed one of the males have like tiny white dots on his head. They are nowhere else on his body or fins. The white spots seem sunken in, like they dont stick out of his head. Could this just be his scales, or could it be ick?

ick is usually infects the whole body.
some betta foreheads are kind of indented with little "dots" if you have ever looked closely at them. monitor him for the next little while though, to make sure it is not an infection or the beginnings of something else. if the holes look like pinholes with open lesions there is the chance that it could be "hole in the head". don't want to worry you needlessly though. let us know how this develops.
