hi guys im thinking about setting up a dwarf cichlids tank it would be 100 litres thanks in advance.

Bolivian rams, laetacara sp., nanochromis, kribs, and butterfly jewel cichlids are all suitable. Of course at most you're looking at a pair of a single species.

This is absolutely spot on. You would be pushed for space in a 100ltr tank. Dwarf cichlids like to mark out their own territory, ie caves and such.

I think if you were to mix them you would have to get a singleton of each species. But from what I've read, they prefer to be paired with their own kind.

A pair of kribs would look great in a 100ltr tank, amd there pretty easy to keep, compared to bolivian rams. And there colours are great :)

Also Kribs are great parents and breed regularly, I had a pair and ended up selling hundreds back to my lfs.

If this will be a seperate tank from the 100l stocking in your sig, you could do a colony of Tanganyika shell dwellers with some Pseudomugil furcata to act as dithers up the top.
