Could he possibly be........ blind??

It's almost time for me to go home.
I still haven't decided if I'll go back for him or not.
I'm on the fence about it.
I just keep thinking how I really can't take another one in, BUT.... someone who doesn't understand what might be wrong with him might get him and be disappointed, and that could be disastrous.

:/

Get him and name him Casper. U know the drill, if you cannot stop thinking about him, then he is already in...lol. Besides, I think ur right, he has special circumstances. It's not a fungus, fin rot, or bacteria... he's disabled. If you do take him home...maybe a smaller space that he could memorize would be best for him...so he can find his way around and the top easier. goodluck

That, actually, is a very good point. I'm worried about keeping him warm, although i was really thinking about maybe getting him something like a large breeder net to hang on the inside of my girly's tank.

Anyone see a problem with this?
Oh, hmm... actually that tank is not done cycling yet so maybe that wouldn't be the best idea for now - but eventually? For now I could put him into something....
even a goldfish bowl....?

Go get him, BettaMomma, you know you want to :)

A member on another forum has a betta who was blinded when attacked by a female who jumped a divider. This fish has apparently adapted very well. The owner does much the same things for his care as ThatDarnDragon has suggested.
