My on sale corys spawned today i was too later and did not get to see who it was as their is 4 cory breeds in the tank, fingers crossed it was panda's i managed to find 30+ eggs rolled them onto my fingers and into a floating trap

could do with finding out the culprits as i dont really want to split and sell on breeding groups

Ill keep you posted on weather or not they hatch and who looks responsible for them

congrats!

didnt think handling the egss was a good idea mind?

Ive done it loads its the recommended method on here roll them onto your fingers and stick them to the side of the floating hatchery i have bred hundreads using this method they are a really sturdy egg and very sticky :good:

ahh i see, i stand erected :D

i just couldnt see a cory egg (spelt right this time) being tough enough to cope through that, you just assume that theyre not hardy

apologies!

i logged on here for some info on this as my corys have spawned to my complete suprise as i thought i had 2 boys.

i have mine in a net floating on the top. no other tank to move them to. what to do?

Hi stiffler69 :)

Congratulations! That's an interesting development. :yahoo: I'll be looking forward to finding out who the parents were too.

Hi Haych :)

Yes, cory eggs can be moved. The trick is in getting them at the right time. If you try too soon, they will be soft and break, but if you wait too long, they will loose their stickyness and you are apt to drop them when you roll them off. :D

Hi Nikkig85 :)

I left a link for you on your thread. I hope to be seeing you raise a nice batch of them in the near future.

Thanks inchworm it seems i have been blessed with a male and female blue acara's from the supplier too who spend alot of time chasing around and courting so hopefully might have some baby acara eggs too
