Yestersay i went to the LFS and bought what thought to be a Corydoras Julii. It was name Corydoras Julii but when i researched it at home, i found it was a Trilineatus. What is the differnce between these two simalar fish. Is their any advantages that the trilineatus has over the julii. I really wanted the Julii but this fish seems ok, but if their are some benefits this fish brings over the julii, this fish would be great. Thankyou for any respones.

I got the same thing here last year. The only difference as far as I know is the design of their pattern. Not much else.

...you can basically say that for any different kinds of corys...

Not true. Many have physical differences, including size, head and body shape as well as more distinct color and patterns. Julii/Trillneatus are essentially the same except the color pattern.
