Hello all!

I'm looking to replenish my corydoras fleet and had a couple questions. First off, will different species of corydoras school/shoal together? If so what are y'alls thoughts on the mixing of cory species?

Thank you in advance!

Yes similar species hang out together but you need at least 6 of each species for them to be happy.

A practical link with info from Cory-professor Ian Fuller

It may be best to avoid multiple species from the same lineage as it is thought that this may increase the likelihood of hybrids, particularly if they are kept in insufficient numbers to select a mate of their own species.

Thank you both! After taking my own research and the help provided in this thread into account I will be focusing on growing my colony of Peppered Corys, rather than mixing and matching. I will likely shoot for 7 or 8 total.
