I have had eggs from these in the past and even tried to raise the fry. Since my rescape however, I havent had any eggs from them again :(

Lately one cory in particular is looking a bit mental! He even chased around a Colombian Tetra twice his size for a minute or two earlier.

I'm guessing he may be a bit frisky as he seems to tend to some plant leaves as if rubbing his belly on them (not itching/scratching :shifty: ) but as if he's cleaning/preparing the area. He'll then swim off and chase around who I take is the female. Doesn't look like she's up for it though unfortunately :( Could it be due to my recent rescape? She doesn't like her new surroundings maybe?

bump. still no eggs from my corys who were laying often before my rescape.. do you think it will just take time for them to be comfortable enough again?

Generally, if Corys spawn once they will do so, again. That, however, is not to say that they are guaranteed to do so. The most important thing required to spawn Corys, is a high level of patience. Oh, and generally it's the female that prepares the surface of where the eggs are to be laid. - Frank
