Hi everyone. I haven't been online lately because I just came back from an advanced training course in Cornado, CA. Now it looks like I will have until Christmas before I need to be going anywhere!

So, I have a ten gallon tank and I trying to grow a fence carpet of dwarf hairgrass. I really would like a corry catfish, but I would just like to double check that if I add it after the DHG becomes a carpet that it wouldn't tear it up.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

I had the same idea, but my cories dug it all up

I have dwarf Cory cats with some DHG they don't like it. They rather dig around in dirt and sand. I had these little Cory cats with HC and they did dig that up pretty good. I had a great carpet and they help up root it all. I gave up and moved on. I think they would have a hardest time up rooting the DHG.

Cory cats and carpet plants are not a great mix.

pretty much agreeing here too. Now I've changed to sand my cories are even uprooting my big plants with their snuffling around. I keep having to push them back in the sand (the plants not the cories :hyper: )

I love my cories more than my plants though so it doesn't matter :fun:

Thanks everyone for the replies. I will not add cories to this tank. :)

For their sake and mine. :D
