if you don't buy them all at the same time stick with 1.

You can't choose the pair, you have to buy a group then let 2 pair off then return the others.

like i have been saying all along sean the clown is my favorite fish, he will be moved to my friends tank

if not my frined can hold him for me at the petshop he works at.

Umm...actually, you never said that he was going into a friends tank. And you also never said ANYTHING about having him stay at a pet shop. O, and another thing, I am just going to stop reading ANY threads by you, because they are so frustrating. Why join a forum and ask questions if you aren't going to listen?!

1 fish? listen to anything lol nope i never do, , for example people said dont get more rams, but i didnt? people said get more zebras they like to be in groups, but i did. people said get more neons they like to be in schools, but i did. People said get rid of the pitcus they need a bigger tank, and i did. if im not listening why did i do these things? and what points are u trying to get acrss i didnt listen to? the clown is going to a home, u , pual and kittycory convinced me.

HA HA, Ferrikins! I agree with the last word of this, although I don't agree with the first 2, I'm not with him. Half the time, I can't understand what hes saying. Frank, I think we would all appreciate it if you spell-checked. I'm sorry, but I am sick and tired of you bashing everyone who gives you helpful suggestions! And yes, I know I am sort of bashing you here, but I was giving you helpful suggestions in earlier posts, and you were basically ignoring anything anyone said if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

I curently have a 20 GL set up with a pair of convicts, they haven't bred yet but TRUST ME..nothing can go in that tank. Convicts are the meanest suckers out there....I put in my 5 inch Sailfin plec and they ripped him up[EDIT-LUCKILY I WAS AMBLE TO SAVE HIM BEFORE HE WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED]. i was planning to get some other cichlids in that tank.....but on my last visit to the LFS I saw a 6" red devil half eaten by a 1" convict. Trust me dude, if your going for convicts they need to be put into a species tank.

Sean where in this thread have you answered any of my questions? All you are doing is pissing me off. What good have our post done at all? The only advice really given by you was that I should take my clown back. Whats with the 3 other posts? If you dont like me dont post in my threads then. And sure you given me advice in the past, and how have I ignored it? Ive tooken a lot of advice from this forum and used it. But sometimes I see a fish and what advice from people and experence to see if it will fit in my tank or not. Im sure we have all seen a fish and say to ourselves I want that fish, thats what happened with me and convicts, so I asked a basic question to see what they are like and etc. I do this and tons of research.

im kinda like you always wan to change up i guess...but i just buy additonal tanks as in this week im buying 3 peacocks to breed so i had to put my breeding setup back up.....

but 2 convicts would be nice i guess.....species tank rock!! especially AFRICAN cichlids

i keep NW cichlids also but africans are just to cool

i also have a question....i heard pink convicts can go with tiger oscars.....could regular convicts be sutiable with one? the oscar is still 3" i was thinking abou giving him away due to being a CA cichlid and he would need a 55G which could be used as a african tank....but so far he is doing great....sorry not trying to hijack the post just curious about oscars and convicts
