Convicts breeding again

I got convicts awhile ago because I wanted a cichlid that would breed easily. I hadn't bred cichlids before and wanted to do it but not risk screwing up. Its getting old though. I wish they would stop breeding. It gets annoying when they continually breed every two weeks! They don't even give me a month to get ready to get rid of them. I can't just kill them that would be sad and my girlfriend definately wouldn't let me do it anyways. She gets mad enough at me when I feed some of them to my oscar, Nibbler.

*sigh*

I just wish there was "the Pill" for fish....

survival of the fittest, let em keep breeding, and soon, they wont be able to raise a whole broad. thats what i do, but i got 2 dempsey and 2 bala sharks helpin out too.

they only they'll stop breeding is if you seperate them...

I gave the male to my LFS and kept the female and two of her daughters (one white & one regular). They still lay eggs every two weeks even though there is not a male to fertilize them.
