I think I saw your thread earlier on?? didnt you have a pic of Borat on it??

I think im definately gonna go for the 40g tank now, I have so many cool images going round my head, live rock teaming with corals, crabs and shrimps crawling around, clowns poling out of anenomes, damsels and gobies skipping round!!! its gonn look amazing!!!

yeh that was mine lol. its my first marine tank too.
Go down to a shop that keeps marine fish. i 100% guarentee you will go with the 40. Id never seen them for real before my first visit they are soo much more colourful than any tropical fish

i will pm you a link to a 40odd gal tank to show you what is possible

give you a rough idea of price my 40g was about £800, for tank, stand, lighting, live rock 30 kg, v2400, refractometer and water o and i think i included my 2 clowns in the total as well!

my set up is probably loitering about somewher as well if yo uwant me to try and find it.

well I already have the tank/stand/thermometer all im gonna need is the lighting, live rock, some power heads, refractometer and water. But yeah, let me know what you have lieing around by all means )

cool for lighting i would go for 2 x t8 atinics and twin 55 watt t5's but you may of already looked into lighting.

i keep finding my old some old marine stuff in my garage need to tidy it properly, found hydrometer, powerhead and a not sure if it works external so far so il keep digging!

ps ebay hydor korlias are good prices for powerheads, 2-3 of them and will give a nice flow rate. tell me if im repeating stuff you already know!
