It depends on where you buy it from...It can range from about $150-400 on equipment. If you search your classifieds or Craigslist theres usually people who sell there whole system and also some equipment. You can find it cheap on Craigslist  :good:

Depends where you get your stuff from. I bought everything online. I picked up two filters for 160$, 40 lns of live sand for about 40$, 40 lbs of crush coral for 15$ and 30 lbs of live rock for 3$/Lbs with shipping. I just bought a cleaning crew with over 60 pieces for 107$ with shipping and the tank I bought from a friend for 100$ it had the net and all the cleaning stuff and other toys. I build my own stand because I didn't trust the other. All in Oak with some treated plywood for about 150$.

I still don't have any fish.

That's a rough estimate my friend has spends 3000$ on his, but he buys everything at the LFS and didn't take his time and lost a lot of fish.

Have fun!!!

$400-500 to start for LR, sand, powerheads and basic hardware. Then whatever fish you want. That'll get you started. As mentioned, search for local clubs or look over craigslist for great prices on used equipment and especially LR
