Connecting Eheim 2215 Pipes Together?

Today my eheim filter arrived, I've got all the parts except the one i need to fix to pipes together, a spray bar and a corner bend part, on the diagram every part is labelled except the one i need to connect them together....

The manual mentions a clamping nut but i think thats for the hoses...

what can I use to connect the pipes together?

This stumped me for a while with my 2078...

But then realised I was expected to cut off a small piece of piping to link the spraybar to the "shepherds crook"

If its like mine, a 5-6cm piece will do the trick.
