Confused?

Its perfectly obvious why he doesn't want it and the reasons for not wanting it have been repeated ad infinitum..

what are these burning annoucements that you have to make to people you don't even know? Because anyone i actually know i speak to, not message on a fish forum, why would the rest of the world care that my baby has done its first crap in a potty for example?

Don't get me wrong, I realise they are valid. Any and all points of view are valid, I just don't think they are very strong reasons for not giving this a try that's all!
Consider this:

Many people are arguing that there will be problems that you claim are not strong enough to prevent one from trying. Could it be that your reasons to have one are not strong enough to convince other people that it is worth trying it, and therefore yours are the 'tired' points?

But as is pointed out, you only have one person ultimately to convince, and that is William.

i'm converted to the "no announcements" attitude. i originally wanted a very limited format, but after seeing certain shennanigans involving silly people announcing a pretend "betrothal" out of boredom... its more trouble than it's worth to implement a codified format.

Oh come on - that was dead funny! Despite the circumstances.

But yes in all seriousness & fairness, I can see how funny for one person is not funny for another. So I'll remain serious on TFF
