I have read it is bad to have cory's with Kribs and now after doing other research trying to find more info on them that some people say they are ok to have them with Kribs even with a breeding pair. What is the truth :dunno: , I love both species and it would be awesome if I could keep corys with Kribs. What is everyones opinion on the subject?

You must remember that Kribs are Cichlids and you know what that means, they are substrate spawners so anything snooping around during breeding is gonna get pounced on as Kribs do get terretorial like other cichlids during breeding. If you were going to put corys and Kribs together I wouldn't put them in anything less than a 48"L tank.
I did keep 5 Lumpheads and a pair of Kribs in a 5 foot tank without problem.

kribs are actually cave spawners but thats just picking :p

cories will get picked on if they go anywhere near the kribs spawning site (as will anything else).

if you want to breed kribs in a community i would suggest a breeding pot or plant pot .. nothing else will be allowed anywhere near this.. if you keep the entrance to this very small and not open to the whole community you SHOULD be ok.

cories are pretty dim and never quite seem to realise they need to keep away....

its upto you ;)

good luck
