The zebra & yoyo loach look real nice, I just looked up their pics. I think I'll get one or the other if not both I was thinking about a few ghost shrimp in the tank. I asked this guy at the fish shop if ghost shrimp would be bothered by a bottom dweller catfish and he told me that if I get a Cory catfish they'll be ok because Cory's are not carnivorous. Is that true?

The firemouth(if you get one) will love having the ghost shrimp in your tank...as a snack

So you'd rather have the shrimp than the firemouth? The enjoyment that I get out of my firemouth outweighs a lot of other exclusions that I've had to make in my tank. It may be that you would rather have more freedom in your choices and have the ability to choose a wider variety of fish. In any case, my hat's off to you for doing the research before plunking everything blindly into your aquarium and hoping for the best.

Well, the main reason Im kinda sticking with the shrimp over the firemouth is because my girlfriend has been wanting the ghostshrimp for a long time now.
she thinks they're the cutest thing I had a cichlid tank before and wasnt able to get shrimp but I promissed her I'll get ghostshrimp this time

But you never know... I guess I just have to think about this one.
