Thank You I think I’ll score that one off - I wouldn’t want it to be overcrowdedJust. Your tank with a 60 x 40 cm (24 x 15.5 inch) footprint is the minimum size for bristlenoses.
thats true, I had a tank the same volume (120l) but it was much longer, slimmer and tallerI think most Americans will read the tank volume and assume a certain tank length. The UK doesn't have specific lengths for any given volume - they can be long and shallow, tall and thin or cubes like my 23 litre/6 gallon tank - it's 12 x 12 x 12 inches.[/QUOTE
Could be mine! 120L 760x315x550. Seriouslyfish.com state a lot of fish need a 900mm/36” tank. Shame.thats true, I had a tank the same volume (120l) but it was much longer, slimmer and taller
Usually times it happens is during shipments, even so its very very rare.Just been reading up on cory’s and read that they can release a toxin when under stress, I’ve never heard of this - have any of you guys experienced it ?
Ok thank you for clearing that upUsually times it happens is during shipments, even so its very very rare.
Ive ordered cories online, ive bought local... only ever lost 1 during shipment.
It is a rare incident, usually in your aquarium, there is no major stress unless you deliberately put a predator with them.
I don't know if panda cories in the UK are bred in the same place as those sold in the US but we have a few American members who are having trouble with them dying for no apparent reason.
