I'm partly colored blind, nothing too bad but it does making testing water parameters somewhat difficult. It's kind of annoying having to bring in water samples to my local fish store, and I was wondering if there's any other way I could do it myself, other than putting drops in a test tube, getting one of those color charts, and trying to figure out which color it is. Any help would be appreciated.

God Bless,
Joshua

Yeah I've had my girlfriend read them once before as well.

I struggle with shades of green and orange, maroon and dark green, and blues and purples.

Well for my test kit:

pH has blues and greens.
Ammonia has greens.
Nitrite has blues and purples.
Nitrate has yellow, orange and red.

Wouldn't be good for you.

It's too bad there's no electronic system you could dip in the water, and it would meassure out all the levels, and put the numbers on a screen.

God Bless,
Joshua
