Hi. Just a quick question about the sludge in my filter.
I've heard that this goo is magic when it comes to establishing the bacterial colony in a new tank. But here's the thing; a friend of mine got a tank and she has decided to go the coldwater route.
I myself have a well established tropical tank. So we were wondering if we could put tropical filter sludge into a coldwater tank to accelerate the process or would the bacteria die and wreck the whole thing.
