Sorry I tend to think first in FrenchAh makes sense.
Sounds like a good start!Water Sprite, anarcharis and hornwort are fast growing plants, you can even float some to give shade!
I really love some of the native fish you recommended but am not sure where I could get themCool! I still think you should take into account my post. But Odessa's are a good beginner fish! Plants could be Anacharis, Susswasertang, Anubias nana petite, Red Root Floaters, Jungle Val, and Amazon Sword.
Is this too cold for 8 c. Paleatus and 8 odessas? Are odessas colorful? Also, could I add some ghost shrimp? Sorry for all the questions lolSorry I tend to think first in French
Don't be sorry, questions are the best way to avoid mistakesIs this too cold for 8 c. Paleatus and 8 odessas? Are odessas colorful? Also, could I add some ghost shrimp? Sorry for all the questions lol
So are the odessas too nippy for the paleatus? I would love a bottom feeder and want the barbs for a colorful schooling species. As I said OK for Odessa. You really should read its caresheet link, then compare to Corydoras paleatus's HERE
Pethia odessa is not agressive but an active and fast swimmer that tends to bite/chew other fish fins so Corydoras make an easy target since they are mostly bottom fishes.
Shrimps and Corydoras is OK
Odessa and shrimps is ok even there will probably be predation on juveniles.... a kind of fertility regulation ?
However, paradise fish and shrimp not in your wildest dreams.
I know that a test would be best but thats not possible at the moment. I will get my fish from my LFS though who uses the same water I do, so the fish should be adapted. Are there any other colorful non nippy schoolers?Odessa are known for being nippy.
But, you cannot choose without having tested your water.
Haha this I know im just trying to keep the coldwater for now. There are many non nippy colorful schoolers but mostly are tropical fishes.
