So, its been a while since I haven't posted; and since its been a while lots of things have happened. Suddenly, I don't feel like popping by my paintball center every time I need a refill, nor do I feel like turning off the CO2 manually each night!

I found this on eBay, recon its any good?

More importantly, do you think it'll fit JBL cylinders? Does anyone have experience with this kit/seller?

Thanks,
Michele

I don't know the make. Ask on the planted board, there is a lot of pressurised CO2 experience over there.

I have the exact regulator shown on that page and its working fine! I have it fitted to a fire extinguisher which is a standard fitment.

Thanks! I've mailed the seller asking if I could attach a JBL cylinder to his reg... lets see what he says! (my german is rusty at best!)

Where do you get your fire extinguisher refilled? How much does that cost?

Thanks again,
Michele

I have the kit and have had it running for 2 months now give or take and the quality is unsurpassed the only thing i would say is worth mention is that since mine hasn't ran out yet I don't know where to get or how much co2 refills would be.

Thats my big concern! I'm worried I wont be able to refill! Do I need a special licence to get CO2 refilled from fire-extinguisher ppl? I know to dive I need a "licence" to get my cylinder refilled...

I'll call some people on yellow pages as soon as I have time...

Just had an email from the seller:
Hi,
the cylinder is international standard and also refillable in UK. Same as The JBL cylinder.

kind regards
LunaPet GmbH

So I've gone ahead and pressed the buy-it-now button... now I'll wait for the postal people to start delivering again!

Got the item two days ago- not the fastest shipment; but it did get here.

The seller used DHL to get it to me. Problem is, there are no instructions what-so-ever and the CO2 reactor is sold unassembled (as well as having lots of little connectors I have no clue where to put!)

I've mailed the seller asking him if he has a manual or assembly instructions - but haven't received a reply. Also, the (sealed) CO2 cyclinder only has 50bar of CO2 (is this normal?)

No reply as of yet... We will see if he gets a positive of a neutral...

Yes the low pressure is normal I think he actually says so in his sales patter. I've had one for a while and like you got no instructions but he did e mail them after a few days. Not had to refill yet though and it's been a few weeks.

Good luck :good:

Yesterday I got a reply from him which included instructions, both in German and English. That said, I had already put it together and it seems to be working well. I don't have a proper CO2 test kit, but I have ordered one. I'm dosing based on strip-tests for the moment!
