Hello all I have a junk pro flora co2 system the one were u had a and b and u get co2. Will I get better benifits if I change it to a co2 canister system. And is it dear to get them refilled.

I am finding that the pressurized co2 is very easy to manage. And I went to my local welding supply with an empty canister that I purchased, and walked out with a full tank in less then 3 mintues for $16. Easy breezy. Dosing your own dry fertilizers is always turning out to be a breeze. Much easier then keeping the fish.

Just some thoughts from another noob.
:)

Looking at a full system on eBay. All solinoids etc for 80 pounds. Bargin it's the posting I'm worried about.

One time purchase though and co2 refills are cheap. Those yeast systems will cost loads in the long run. I switched my other tank back to low lighting, because bottled carbon was so expensive to dose. I love the pressurized set up tho.
