Clown Pleco With Jd?

Hi how big do clown plecs get and are they ok with jack dempseys? if not are there any other plecs that would be good with them? thanks!

Clown Plecs rarely exceed 3". Almost any plec will be good with cichlid.

Hm, clown plecos are very shy plecos in my experience, probably wouldn't come out much with a big and active JD in the tank.

I wouldn't got for any of the smaller plecs with a JD (bar a baby JD, and only as a temporary thing til it grew up). You need something a bit tougher as some JDs aren't too keen on sharing their tanks with anything, and a slow moving plec could be seriously bullied.

Definitely not a clown plec anyway. You might get away with a BN but if it were me, I wouldn't risk it - and I'd go for something bigger, as long as the tank size permitted.
