Am I seeing things? Recently got Clown Plecos swear I saw his eyes light up yellow! Information please.

Probably caught some light and reflected it back at you.
A fish lens is more of a sphere than ours.
Whilst we focus by having muscles which stretch or squeeze our lens, in the fish, that sphere is moved closer, or further away, from the retina.
