Cloudy water stopped up filter

well that was my problem then! Thank you very much.

One last questin before you go...

I had a tank whose cycled crashed due to sterilizing it. Well I wanted to know if it is going to cycle faster than starting from scratch. When I boiled it, I didn't rub it, I just dipped it in a pot of HOT HOT HOT water and took it out. Will it cycle faster? Or will the cycle still be alive (a little atleast)

there is no need to strip the tank down and start again, if you sterlise it you will start the whole cycle process again, just remove the divider, if you do use the divider you will have to think of adding a filter to the other side to keep it in balance, not fimailar with hobs, they hang on the back don't they, where does it pull the water from the corner of the tank or the middle.

They draw from the left side of tank, toward the middle.

I wasn't planning on stripping the tank. I have one that I had to strip and start again. I was wondering if it is going to cycle like a normal tank or if it would cycle faster than a normal tank.
