just as a general opinion, what do you guys thinkg looks better.

Does depend on the brackish tank! If you're doing mudskippers or an oyster reef with sort of marine-looking livestock, then bright white sand and clear water looks great. But if you're doing something more like a mangrove swamp or a brackish creek with bumblebee gobies, glassfish, archerfish and the like, then a more tea-coloured system will heighten the colours of those fish.

My tank is a light tea color right now. BBgobies look great but makes my f8 look dull so I have to agree with Neale that it depends upon the fish. Another thing, when you have a tea colored tank everyone (meaning my mother, lol) always wants to know what's wrong with your water and why is it so dirty? :lol:
