When ever i plop an ice block of bloodworm in, they fish rabidly attack it for 20seconds then it breaks up and falls to the bottom, usually scattering around and making a mess. Ok within an hour they have eaten it all (i would give a smaller portion, but i cantcut through ice), but there must be a cleaner easier way of feeding it to them?

defrost ion a container first then you can feed as much and as little as you want :good:

i defrost it first and give them a bit at a time, if theres some left over i stick it in the fridge for them for later

I've seen cone shaped worm feeders, but I suspect they would only work for live worms who would wiggle through the holes.

I use a small pipette. The sort that comes with fish medications and tank additives. I've always got some spare as for my tank I have to use the cup to dose, so the pipette doesn't get used for that.

Yes, I let the cube defrost (only takes a few mins) in a small amount of tank water in a tiny cup first (I keep a tiny cup specially for this purpose). Then I share it out between the tanks using tweezers. That way you don't get all that discoloured water and waste in the tank.

I buy bloodworms that come in sheets, I guess you would call them. All I do set the small bag of bloodworms sit out for a couple minutes and the ice is soft enough that I can break of a piece using a butter knife. I can feed as much or as little as I feel like ;3

I use tank water to defrost, then put it in by hand :)

oh god yeah i use tap water

didn't think about the chlorine..

although i boil it in the kettle and pour it over.. melts in seconds :p

does boiling the water get rid of chlorine? =\

Boiling water cooks the blood worms, or atleast they change colour. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. I tend to use tank water and a cup, and tweezers as suggested above :)
