Yesterday I bought a cleair tank, the previous owner had removed the standard lighting it came with, if you look in the pic you can still see the wires sticking out from the end...

So I have some light I have one small LED strip on the underside and it doesnt produce much light...

Now I cant decide where to go from here, do I pay an electrician to sort out the existing light unit or do I buy more led strips? I havent really got a clue about electrics etc, any ideas?

Thanks, ben

if its like a hood i just had its possible to take the old lighting unit out and replace  pritty easy job i hve no sparky training and have done it before  youll only need a screwdriver  to take old one out and screwdriver and a drill to but the new one in

or like you say you could add another led strip but i think the tank has a nice moody effect going on get sum nice big fish in and be spot on :p
