have you tried melafix? ive always had good results using this. even betafix works good. hope they make it.

MelaFix might take too long to work - it takes quite a bit of time before that stuff works.

Try some Maracyn Two.
Your water will turn yellow but your fish will get better.

Well thanks to the guy (Johan) who works at my lfs my girls seem to be on the road to recovery He told me it sounded like Costia so I went and bought Protozin by waterlife. Almost as soon as I added it to my tank the girls perked up. I just did treatment 2 of 4 and today they are so active swimming around with the other girls

It just goes to show not all people who work at pet stores dont know what they are talking about

I'm so glad the girls are getting better...keep your fingers crossed for them

Isn't a gray coating a symptom of columnarus(sp)? Not sure. Been a while since I have read anything on it.
