Tank is too small for anything more than 1 GT and even that is a push,

See I do like the GT and the jack dempsey but I couldn't setup a tank of any sort and only house one fish, just seems a big expense for 1 fish in a tank lol.

Well as requested. I have my tank setup with an Eheim 2026 external filter and it has been filled.
Not sure what decor to put in it. Any ideas? It has Red Sea substrate under the gravel.

Crazy stuff so I have decided that my final stocking will be:

2x Angel Fish
1x Convict or Firemouth
1x Blue Acara
1x Synodontis Angelicus Catfish

I will let you all know how I get on with this I have not really kept cichlids before, I mean I have a bolivian ram in my community tank but thats about it.

Ultimately I would like the tank to be planted with a piece of wood and plenty of open swimming space. Are these guys likely to rip the plants to shreds?

As an alternative to the cichlids mentioned above you could also go with 1 of the following

a rainbow cichlids
a pair of Keyholes,
a Sajica
a Festivum

I am struggling to finalise a stocking list as there are so many fish that I like.
Not quite ready for fish yet anyways still need to finalise the decor in the tank (which im struggling with, see pic) and then do a fishless cycle.

I have got 2 festivum's in there at the moment. I didn't plan on having them but when I saw them in my LFS I had to buy lol.
