Why is it called a "go faster" stripe? Do you have a website that talks about this? I haven't seen this term before.
PMSL...The term go faster strip is an old nickname used in the UK for the cars that have a stripe down the headlight to tailight.
In the seventies and eighties it was common place for the manufacturers to 'sport up' the look of their cars with a stripe down the side. Think of the Ford Escort MkI the sterotypical image of those models is the large wide strip down the side!!
In the eighties almost every car that came out had a pinstripe or 2 down the side (normally in gold)
So the 'go faster stripe' is nothing to do with shrimp. lol Its just a similie that the poster has used to describe the stripe on the shrimp.
