Cheesiest Tank ornament

i have a very faded (almost all white) mermaid holding a shell, and bubbles should come out the shell, but it is broken, i got it from my auntie, and my plec hides behind it, if i take it out he becomes agitated, so even though it is ugly i keep it i think i have a picture...

I used to like the little skeletons and had a few in my tanks. But then I am strange as all my ornaments have a skeletal theme......my kids bought me a grim reaper ornament for mothers day!!lol :D ......I keep my tanks ornament free these days!!

I don't do cheese...

I have no cheesy ornaments in my tanks at least. i used to have a "No Fishing" sign and a boat in my goldfish tank but the boat at least had use for the fish, dunno about the sign -_-

Yeah, my LFS stocks the same one. They've also got a luminous yellow and pin k bridge and a model of san fransisco that has fibre optic lights on it! Apparently its the bestselling ornament they've got! Sum people have slightly weird taste...

i've seen a submarine in my lfs and it has a remote control so you can make the sub swim around in the tank :D

:*) I'm guilty of owning a "castle ruin" I bought it many years ago when I first started to keep fish and at the time, thought it really nice (oh, the shame of it  ) It's in my cichlid tank and try as I might to remove it, I can't. My featherfin syno lives in it and won't give it up for anything. I even tried taking it out off the tank and waiting for the fish to "plop" out, but he didn't. He was out of the water for 10 mins and I got scared that he'd die so I put the damn thing back. He's still very much alive and very much at home in the damn castle. :( Has anyone any suggestions how to get the featherfin out? Pleeeeese - I really want to get rid of that cheesy castle.

My dad made me put this plastic/resin anchor in his fw tank that I keep for him in his office. I absolutely hate it because it looks hilarious and it has saltwater organisms molded onto it. He won't part with it, though, so I get him back by letting java moss grow all over it! hehehe... The pleco likes it, though, so oh well. The ugly anchor is here to stay! :p

Have yet to put in any tank yet but I recently inherited a little mermaid bubble figure and a skeleton of a dinosaur eating a skeleton of a dead fish. I'm not sure if either of these will be touching water any time soon. But cheeiest tank ornament currently in water is yes a castle that was given to me by a friend to be a little dwarf puffers cave.

Tack...cant do it, totally unpleasant, each to their own yes, but Ill still voice my disgust LoL

I think the classic treasure chest with the bubbles has to take it. Although down at Pets At Home, they are doing a rather fetching line of submersible footballers(??!!!) and nice flourescent wiggly things!!!

the worst ive seen in my lfs is fluorescent rainbow coloured dinosaurs

what have dinosaurs got to do with fish!?

I've seen those in our pets at home too.

they're rubber anenomies that are supposed to move like the real thing in the tank current.

I think they look and feel a little pervy...
