Chasing

So? Plecos grow. I'd imagine they're common plecs which get to about 12 inches, or sailfins which get to about 20. Please do not tell me they grow to the size of the tank, that is stunting and while the outside of the fish may not grow, the insides carry on and the fish dies a slow and painful death. Get guppies then, but prepare for them to die. An awful lot of people can't get guppies to live very long even in a matured tank. Speaking of mature, it seems you are not. Have fun with all the dead fish :)

I know how big plecos get and if the one in the tank gets to big I'll put him in the pond with the other fish :p And guppies are hardy even if they are inbred and probably overbred.

If it gets too big? It will, and in such a small tank will make the water quality poor very quickly. They are poop machines. If you persist and ignore everyone, then get some less colourful guppies. These are hardier than the more colourful ones.

Why don't you cycle it with one or two of your goldfish?

Yes, if you must use fish that would be better. The goldfish tank would be less crowded and goldfish are hardy. Plus they produce a lot of ammonia for the cycle.
Yes, it doesn't matter if they're 2 inches. It still works, they still poop.

I cant take the danios back today. Do you think it would be ok if I left them there for today take them back tommorrow and move the gold fish in?

Definitly guppies and I havent desided between mollies, swordtails,or platies.

From the livebearers section-
So you've heard about the inch per gallon rule. That's an okay rule to follow, but there are some exceptions. For example, In a 10 gallon it is advised you don't keep anymore than 5 Guppies max. But for Mollies, for example, it is advised you don't put anymore than 6 in a 20 gallon because they need more space than Guppies despite the inch per gallon rule claiming there's another 2 inchs of fish space left (Mollies grow to 3 inchs)- you can only put 2 Mollies in a 10 gallon.

I think I'll get 3 guppies(1 male 2 females),1 male black molly,a golden mystery snail,and a white female molly.

Would it be ok if I put the goldfish in the tank will the danios are still there?

IMO no. Goldfish are coldwater and danios are tropical. Like the others said better to move your filter over to the other tank once you have returned the danios.

Swordies are lovely but your tank is too small.

I'd take a breather if I were you. Sort your pond out first and then do your tank when you have more time.

The best advice I can give you is to listen to the people on the forum, they have been a great source of information for me since I started keeping fish.

I always thought mollies in a pair would need 15 gallons for swimming space, and at a push would go in a 10 gallon but without anything else.
