Channa Bleheri Diet

Ok, I've had my second bleheri for a week now and he will only eat prawns, tried him on pellets and mealworm but he won't touch them, he is also hiding all the time, my other one eats anything and is active and never hides away, do you think there is something wrong with him? He looks healthy and his colours are good. Maybe he is still settling in, will he be ok just eating prawns?

Hi.
Ideally (for health and ease) you want your Bleheri to get onto a good quality pellet like Hikari massive.
You can try stuffing the shrimp wit pellets, slowly reducing the amount of shrimp meat until it's just pellets.

Or you can pump it up on shrimp then starve for 2 weeks dropping only pellets in the tank.

What temperature are your Bleheri in right now?

19c at the moment, I've got predator pellets that the other is eating, I'll try to put one in the prawn for the other one, I'm going away for 9 days, my daughter is going to look after them so just a bit concerned about leaving them. Is 19c ok for them and do I need to do a big water change before I go away? The last one I did was on tuesday?
