You've picked out a real beauty!

When you can breed them will depend on their maturity. It is not unusual for shops to sell them when they are 3-4 months old and that is much too young. This is not a bad thing, though. If this is the case, you will have the opportunity to raise them yourself. By feeding them on a diet rich in blackworms, spirulina, etc. you will grow them strong and healthy and when they are ready to breed you will be well rewarded for your efforts.
If, they are mature-2 inches =/- I suggest you put them into a tank of their own. I use 10 gal. tanks.
Please let me know how large they are and I will give you more detailed info if you would like.
well i have got some baby mollies in there which i am rearing but when they are old enough i will be selling them and just have cory in there.Inchworm said:Your corys are a bit too small to breed yet, Guppy Mad. And your 5 gal. tank is a bit small, but probably ok if they are the only ones in it. When they are ready, I think they will lay eggs whatever the size.
But, do you have any other fish in there, too?
When I got up and turned my tank lights on this morning I found that my little panda corys have laid some eggs on the glass of their tank. I've been raising them for this and this is their first time. There are only a few but I know that the next time there will be more. I'm so surprised and happy!!!
I know that it is hard to wait, Guppy Mad, but it's all worthwhile.
