Cant View Personal Message Why?

Sorry dont know where else to put this thread,just got a personal message/convertion off eqmel about a media filter for my first cycle,
and well clicking the *personal convertion it says [#10226] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system. why is that ??

think it might be due to a low post count and being new to the board mate, i had a similar problem when i first joined
