I was under the impression that they were the following species
  • Electric Yellow
  • Yellow Tail Acai
  • Yellow Top (labeotropheus fuelleborni)
  • Electric Blue
  • Fuelleborne. Could you please comment what you believe to be the correct species? After searching up what the pet store claimed was a yellow-tailed acai, bears no resemblance to photos online.

no electric yellow cichlids (Labidochromis caeruleus) in there.
no fuelleborni cichlids, they have a funny shaped top lip that overhangs the bottom lip.
no electric blue cichlids (Sciaenochromis ahli)

Top row of pictures.
first picture on left, top row, looks like a female peacock cichlid (Aulonocara sp).

2nd picture, top row, fish on left looks a bit like a Pseudotropheus acei cichlid.
fish on right at front could be a hybrid.
don't know about the fish hiding at the back.

3rd picture, top row, fish at top is the female peacock from 1st pic.
can't think of the other fish in that pic.

--------------
second row of pictures.
fish on left looks like a female Maylandia lombardoi

I think you got the wrong fish.

Thank you! I will keep track of them

You should contact the pet shop and let them know. You might be entitled to a refund.

Electric yellow cichlids are bright yellow all over from day one. If you google them you will see what they look like.

The fuelleborni have the funny top lip. Again google will show that.

The electric blue should be silver while young and males turn brilliant blue when they mature around 2-3 inches in length. Females stay silvery in colour.

-------------
The 3 fishes listed above are quite peaceful. If one of the fish is a lombardoi, it is a really aggressive fish that could kill the others when it matures.
